The Frampton Community Association(FCA)

The Association is a registered charity with the aim of benefiting the people of the village.

It has three main tasks.

1.  It operates the Community Centre (it is being re-named the Cadbury Hall) on behalf of the village.  The building is leased from the County Council.

2.  It is an umbrella organisation for all the clubs and societies in the village.

3.  It owns and manages the Recreation Ground with the help of a volunteer committee and the Parish Council.

The FCA is run by the Management Committee of representatives of all the village organisations which affiliate to the FCA.

There are five rooms in the Centre available for hire.  For further information and to download booking forms etc., please visit the Centre’s website at http//:www.framptoncommunitycentre.org.uk or phone Sheila Murray 01452 741824.

If your club affiliates, it can have meetings in the meeting room at the Centre free, and hire the other facilities at a reduced charge.

The main hall is used by a wide range of organisations including the Brownies, the Football Bingo, the Perryway Players, the Table Tennis club, and the annual Village Quiz, as well as being used for private functions.

There are also two bars at the Centre, which are run by a separate organisation, the Sports and Social Club. To use the bars you need to join the Social Club. Contact any of the bar staff for details. Snooker, Pool, Darts, League Skittles and large screen TV are all available as well as drinks and snacks.  In addition, the Social Club runs entertainment events from time to time.  Please see the Community Centre website for details of upcoming events.

The FCA is also responsible for the Community Newsletter, appearing every two months to keep people informed of what is happening in the village. Send your items to  newsletter@framptononsevern.com.

As an umbrella organisation, we may be able to help your group with advice on, for example, legal matters, funding, insurance and contact with other local groups.
